D3 dead?!

So guys, I haven't really been playing D3... but it seems dead on OpenRaid.
Are you all soloing?! :D

I suppose it's not really a game you need a community for to play, like WoW is, but it's always more fun :D

I think the ease of grouping in the lower levels had the casuals just using that.

In the higher levels people seem to rather solo. Especially with rumors that grouping has you vulnerable to hacking. Keyword being rumors.

I find it easier myself to run a 4 man group for inferno, but join public game is so easy to do, and usually I get decent groups. I don't think the public demand for finding groups in the game has a high enough need for people on here to look for groups. The game also seems to have players winding down and going back to something else like wow. Even with seeing a lot of players moving back and forth now and not grinding so much I still have no issues getting good groups.

I used a Templar follower in the beginning but I found out it's easier soloing when you know how to kite without a follower :geek:

I've heard some rumors about account hacking when joining public games so I've been reluctant to join any...:|

I had joined a few public games at the start but people kept joining/leaving or weren't playing properly so I'm now solo for the win :D

I must admit that I've been mostly soloing when I'v ebeen playing. Either that or just having a friend or two tag along when we farm.

I mostly play solo or with a small set of close friends I've known for a long time from other games.

The amount of exploits and hacking that are still unfixed make public games too much of a risk for me to want to join.
Lately every day this week a new exploit has come to light so I'd rather not risk getting banned from others exploiting.

Almost a month after my original post in this thread, I haven't felt the slightest need to play D3 :P

I'm really disappointed with all these bugs and exploits in D3. Partially the reason for me not joining public games, as well!

Up until the last patch there wasnt much point in grouping, unless you had some friends you liked playing with. Farming gear doesn't feel as rewarding as D2 sadly =S

The announced patch notes for 1.0.5 have caused me to not even think of going back to D3 now. :(
Fun game, but the constant nerfing is out of hand. Even more so now that they plan to nerf Barbarians that choose to whirlwind.
