[SUGGESTION]Mass invites to raid once created?

Hey there,

Not sure if this has been suggested ive poked around a bit but havent seen it. I have about 250+ people who attend my raids at least once a week if not more and i was wondering if there was a chance on ever implementing a mass invite function on the page where you can invite people to the raid?

It takes me about 4-5 minutes to click the invite to raid button for everyone for my raids.

Automated raid invites:

Put a broadcast message on RID that goes something like this:

whisper plusinvite

or at first, when you are getting people used to it:

whisper "plusinvite" without the quotations for Uld 25


it takes a few raids to get people used to it, and some people will try way too hard to mess up a simple operation, but its way easier than clicking everyone by hand, and after a week or two all of your regulars will be well trained and ready to rock.

ORA3 used to do a fantastic job of this. That is if 3 is still the version being used and is still updated.

You used to be able to set the word that would automatically invite, you could also have a different 'key word' that would only work for guildies.

Automaton will do this as well. You can set the invite keyword to "whatever" with-

/automaton invite keyword whatever

Neither of you understood what i was getting at.

Im talking about when you create a raid on the openraid site and on the raid page you go to the "invite others to join button" which then queries the server and allows you to invite friends who havent signed up already. Id like a button on that page that would let you mass invite anyone that you have as an openraid friend to that event.

Im not talking about inviting people to the raid once its raid time and youve sent real id requests out.

A system which would do what you're suggesting is planned for the next version of the website, not in the format you are suggesting though!

Have you been able to get ORA3 to work for RealID? It always errors out for me.

The last time I used ORA3 Cataclysm was unheard of..

I need to check out these addons. I have the same functionality in phoenixstyle but it doesn't work for cross realm and I dislike that.

I've checked and, apparently, Automaton doesn't work with RealID either.
