Privacy policy

During use of this website, the following personal data may be stored:
  • Your IP-address (e.g. in webserver logs)
  • Your chosen forum name
  • Your World of Warcraft / Diablo III character names (the ones you add)
  • After deletion of a character, the character will remain in our database, but not linked to you (the Battle.net data remains).
  • Your e-mail address, Battletag (optional), Real ID (if you opt in to use Real ID).
  • Chat messages sent through OpenRaid chat are (obviously) stored in the database for a limited amount of time. Private messages can only be looked at by technical personnel only (not moderators), and of course the receiving and sending party.
  • Conforming European data law, you may request for your account to be removed via a support ticket.

Your password is only stored in irreversible encrypted form and thus cannot be read by anyone, including us. This data stays in our secure database and will never be sold or shared to any third party. Your e-mail address is safe from spam with us.

We keep anonymous statistics using Piwik (we do not record your IP for this) to see which pages are being used and which aren't. We respect your privacy. We do not share these details with any third party such as with Google Analytics! You can opt out here:

Regarding your Real ID / Battletag
Your Real ID or Battletag will only show up if you opt in, and if you sign up for a raid. Then only the raidleaders of that raid can see your Real ID or Battletag.
You can hide this again by signing "Not coming". Real ID does not show up anywhere else on your profile.
Your Real ID or Battletag only shows up in Quick Raid if you accept a raid invite.
Posting your Real ID or Battletag in chat/forums is at own risk. We advise to do this in whispers using "/w [name] [message]".
We recommend having an authenticator on your World of Warcraft account.
